Amity believes in the power of great design. She has a passion for the sophisticated, the delightfully unexpected, and making the old new again. Her mission is to inspire and enrich her clients' lives by creating artful, timeless, and truly personal spaces.


Amity has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Eastern Michigan University. She has earned her National Council of Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) certificate. She started her career in the furniture industry, designing and installing retail galleries for the La-Z-Boy Furniture Company at their World Headquarters in Michigan. She then moved to Chicago where she designed wholesale and retail locations for Baker Furniture, a Kohler owned company.


Amity Designs isn’t limited to just interiors. Amity can provide exterior color consultations, exterior materials specifications, consultations regarding hardscape, softscape, and exterior lighting. Good design belongs everywhere!
